About me

Accounting first.
Then everything else.

I studied business administration with a specialisation in accounting, taught myself to write software, and now run Coders Technologies FZE, a licensed software company in the UAE building AI agents and platforms for clients.

The company operates inside the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park and the SPARK ecosystem. That detail matters more than it sounds: a licensed entity in a free zone is what turns freelance project work into something a client’s procurement department can actually sign.

Why I write this

This site has two jobs, and they depend on each other.

The first is for anyone trying to get somewhere they have not been before. I went from an accounting degree to writing software for a living with no formal route into it, and I wrote most of it down as it happened rather than reconstructing it afterwards. That means the encouraging posts here come with dates attached.

The second is to show what high-quality technical work actually costs. Everyone writes about AI. Far fewer people publish the vendor quote they turned down, what they built instead, and what it came to on the invoice. I do, because the alternative is a market where the price of a thing depends on whether the buyer happens to know what the thing costs.

The two are the same argument. Motivational writing without evidence is worth very little, and the technical numbers are what stop the first half being empty.

What I write about

Momentum

How to start, and how to not stop.

Craft & cost

Serious systems, and what they genuinely cost to build.

Contact

The fastest way to reach me is email: aabuissa8@gmail.com. I am also on LinkedIn, which is where most of this writing started life.

If you want to work with the agency rather than with me personally, that is a separate conversation and a separate company — say so in the first line and I will point you at the right place.
